I love summer. Here in Nevada that means a few months of 90F + days. I am happiest on hot days than I am on cold dreary days we get in winter. Which is why I am very sad when I start to see all the summer clothes on clearance and knit sweaters replace them on the racks. Booo!
As part of my rebellion against the end of summer I am snatching up as many cute summer dresses I can find (lots of big sales happening now and in the very near future.) My favorite summer print is the Gingham check. Its been a popular print from the 1910’s to 1960’s. Most vintage inspired clothes in Gingham seem to pop up in 1950’s styles. From summer dresses to house aprons tie front shirts and menswear too nothing says I love summer better!
