Custom Made Victorian Dresses
Christine Hall Designs– I am always amazed at Christine’s designs. Her Titanic movie reproductions are the closest to the original I have seen. She does all eras of Victorian dresses and has received commissions on more than a few Victorian wedding dresses which are absolutely stunning.
Civil War Lady- Joy Melchor knows her civil war fashions. Her dresses are completely accurate from the fabric to the trimming to the pattern itself. She specializes in custom orders for clients around the world.
Etsy.com– The new eBay for handmade crafters has a good listing of Victorian gowns. If the size fits you then you can purchase it right away or contact the designer for custom work. Also, a great place to find one of kind, pre-owned dresses and vintage accessories. I had a dress made by CivilWomen (now out of business) and it is wonderfully made for a great price.
